1- Antibiotics, such as:
- Doxycycline
- Amoxicillin
- Ciprofloxacin
- Metronidazole
- Rifaximin
2- Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs), including:
- Aspirin
- Ibuprofen
3- Some High Blood Pressure Medications, like:
- Ramipril (Altace)
- Amlodipine (Norvasc)
4- Bisphosphonates, used for osteoporosis, such as:
- Ibandronate (Boniva)
- Alendronate (Fosamax)
5- Other medications that may cause pill esophagitis and ulcers are:
- Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)
- Potassium
- Warfarin (Coumadin)
